28th April 2009

The London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square

The 3rd Annual European Pensions and Savings Summit will be held at the London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square, on the 28th April 2009.

Our previous events proved to be a success and we would like to keep the pension funds debate on. Together with all major industry players we are going to discuss current issues affecting this sector.

Pension funds all over Europe are experiencing many challenges: from dealing with the regulatory requirements, improving their investment strategies to manage different risks including those related to the longevity. Assessing impact of global economies and politics, implementing effective strategies for matching liabilities, broadening asset allocation, penetrating opportunities within emerging markets and improving organisational structure and funding are among the topics which will be discussed by senior industry specialists at EuroPass2009.

This one day summit will feature:

  • Keynote presentations
  • Case studies
  • Panel discussions
  • Networking luncheons
  • Coffee breaks
  • Drinks receptions
  • Plus EuroPASS 2009 will see the launch of the inaugural Awards Gala Dinner for Excellence in Pension Fund Management

Sponsors will also have the opportunity to exhibit in the area where the conference breaks take place.

This exclusive event for pension funds representatives, trustees and consultants is a unique opportunity for all the senior industry representatives to meet and debate the best solutions for the current challenges facing pension funds in Europe.

If you are a pension fund representative or a trustee, we would like to hear from you and invite you to join this debate.

Overview:

The European Pensions and Savings Summit (EuroPASS) was launched in April 2007 and held
in Barcelona billed as the ‘Davos for Savings'. The event was the first of the annual Summit
series where those running the largest pension funds and investment consultants could get
together to learn best practice from the countries and funds who were getting it right. 180
participants from 21 European countries and the US attended. The content was very highly rated
(83% in appraisal forms) and generally considered to be very good.

We built on this success and EuroPASS 2008 attracted over 200 participants. Again the content
and speakers were highly rated.

Pension funds representatives, Trustees and Consultants from across Europe are invited to register for complimentary passes; please email your details to Cordelia Ekeocha at cekeocha@efinancialnews.com
