Niki Crookdake has an extensive range of investment banking and training experience. She graduated from Bristol University in 1987 with an LLB (Hons) and joined Slaughter & May in 1988, qualifying as a solicitor in 1990. After 4 years at Slaughter & May she joined Kleinwort Benson / Dresdner Kleinwort Benson as a corporate financier working on a wide variety of M&A and capital markets transactions. In 1996, she left to work for Bass for two years whilst studying for her Masters in Finance at LBS. Having qualified, she returned to the city in 1998, first, as an Assistant Director in the Equity Research department of Deutsche Bank and then later at Cazenove & Co. After maternity leave, Niki returned to work as a financial trainer in 2001. When training she lays great stress on the practical rather than purely theoretical aspects of corporate finance and draws on her own experiences in industry and the City.
