Heather Lightbody, BSc., MSc. (London Business School), has extensive experience in the theory and practice of leveraged finance at both a practical and theoretical level. Her experience spans corporate, M&A advisory and investment banking. Heather worked for Exxon for five years on corporate financial analysis. For five years she was a strategy consultant specialising in company valuation on divestments and acquisitions. Heather then spent seven years in investment banking, latterly as Executive Director in Equity Capital Markets, working with clients on international equity issues. She is an experienced trainer and was Managing Director of DC Gardner Training for five years. Heather teaches for the London Stock Exchange, DC Gardner and the BVCA. Heather is co-author of the Euromoney Corporate Finance workbook.
