Course Director
Sam C. Syvertsen is currently Director of Analysis at Markedskraft, overseeing Markedskraft’s analysis of the CO2 and Power Market. Mr. Syvertsen has been with Markedskraft since 1994, and has been central in creating the portfolio management and analysis business.
Before joining Markedskraft, Syvertsen worked as Operations Director for Saint Gobains Norwegian Silicon Carbide production plants where he managed a power portfolio of 500 GWh/yr and was also responsible for macroeconomic analysis and project evaluation at Statoil.
Syvertsen was educated at the Norwegian School of Business and Administration, where he completed his doctorate coursework. He regularly lectures at their executive program in Financial Energy Analysis.
