Awards for Excellence in
Trading & Technology

On Monday 3rd October, Financial News hosted the 10th annual Awards for Excellence in Trading & Technology, Europe 2012.The awards honoured the achievements of firms and individuals working across the spectrum of trading and technology in European financial markets, from stock exchanges and alternative trading platforms, to software vendors and in-house IT teams.

The Financial News Awards for Excellence in Trading & Technology, Europe 2012 are independent and fee-free. The editors drew on a combination of anecdotal information from analysts, sellside and buyside firms, exchanges, clearing houses and industry experts, combined with empirical data, to compile the shortlist.

The shortlist was then voted on by a panel of more than 50 judges comprised of established industry veterans and experts. The votes were vetted by the editors to prevent conflicts of interest.

The winners were presented their awards at the black tie dinner held at The Royal Courts of Justice, London.
