On Wednesday 8th June 2011, Financial News hosted the 6th annual Awards for Excellence in Investor Service, Europe 2011 (formerly known as the Awards for Excellence in Institutional Client Service). These awards set the standard by which client relations teams should be judged, in particular when it comes to winning and retaining mandates.

To decide the awards, a distinguished panel of industry practitioners voted on the nominees in each category. The panel cast their opinion on which of the many firms within European operations; had had the most success in their sector over the past year.
