On Wednesday 13th October 2010, Financial News hosted the 9th annual Awards for Excellence in Institutional Asset Management - Europe 2010 at Banqueting House, Whitehall, London.

The awards provide the definitive and authoritative industry view of the performance and strategy of the main players in European institutional asset management industry.

The winners of the 27 categories were presented awards on the evening, ranging from best overall European Asset Management Firm of the Year, CEO of the Year to specialist awards such as best Fund of Funds Manager of the Year, and local awards in countries across Europe.

To decide the awards, Financial News sought the expertise of a distinguished independent panel of 80 pension fund consultants, fund management executives and marketers from across Europe whom voted on the nominated fund management groups in each category.
